First Ladies' Luncheon

First Ladies’ Luncheon serves as United Way of West Tennessee’s largest fundraising event, drawing larger and larger crowds to the fairgrounds each year to highlight the incredible work of women in our Tennessee community. As a TableScapes Event, sponsors not only purchase a table, but decorate it themselves, drawing inspiration from nearly any source imaginable. This year, the 6th Annual First Ladies’ Luncheon will feature Actress Becky Fly as the keynote speaker.

  • Becky Fly enjoys acting in films, videos, and commercials and has had speaking parts in The Help, The Last Exorcism, The Legend of Hallowdega, Blue Like Jazz, Constantine, and Texas Killing Fields. She also shot a scene with Robin Williams for his last film, Boulevard, and was in three episodes of the CMT TV series Still the King, written by and starring Billy Ray Cyrus.

She was born in Gallatin, TN and is a graduate of Lambuth College. She has acted, costumed, and directed with the Jackson Theater Guild for many years and taught high school theater at Madison Academic Magnet High school for 24 years. She is currently enjoying retirement.

While we realize that the name of this event makes it a challenge for men to attend, this event is intended to be attended by both men and women. This challenge has inspired the creation of a "Tailgating Section" already supported by BancorpSouth! The "Tailgating Section" will feature tables of 6 already casually decorated, hot dogs and hamburgers grilled by BancorpSouth, non-alcoholic beer provided by Central Distributors, corn hole, and more! To be seated in this section, you can purchase a table or an individual seat. If decorations aren't your thing, but you still want to be part of United Way's largest annual fundraiser, this section is for you!
