Andrea joined United Way in September 2024 as Family Champion for Dyer and Lake County. She was born in Chicago but raised in West Tennessee.

Andrea earned her associate degree in Secondary Education from Dyersburg State Community College in 2008. She began her professional career in early childhood education, working at Dyersburg Head Start from 2009-2020. Andrea was passionate about early childhood education and supporting families in underserved communities. She focused on creating meaningful opportunities for children and families, ensuring access to quality education and resources. Committing to service and advocacy, Andrea strived to make a lasting impact through her work in the nonprofit world.

From 2019-2024, Andrea worked at Tennessee Homeless Solutions. With experience at Head Start and Tennessee Homeless Solutions, Andrea is very passionate about supporting vulnerable communities through education, housing, and social services. Her work at Tennessee Homeless Solutions focused on providing critical resources, guidance, and support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, helping them achieve stability and self-sufficiency. In recognition of her hard work and dedication, Andrea was awarded Program Manager of the Year in 2023.

Outside of her career, she enjoys thrifting, caring for plants, and spending time with her loved ones, including her son, Conner, and two dogs, Toby and Chico. She is also a member of the PWBA and Bowls for the Dyersburg Moose Lodge team.
