Cyntressia serves as the Senior Financial Counselor of the Financial Empowerment Center with United Way, a position she has held since July 2024. She initially joined the organization in March 2022 as the Financial Empowerment Center's Administrative Assistant, demonstrating her capabilities and commitment that led to her promotion.
Born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee, Cyntressia has deep roots in the West Tennessee community.

With ten years of experience in Retail Banking across various roles, she brings extensive knowledge of financial systems and a commitment to helping community members develop healthier relationships with their finances.
Prior to her role at United Way, Cyntressia built a strong foundation in the banking industry, where she honed her skills in financial services and customer relationships. Her transition to financial counseling reflects her dedication to addressing the financial challenges faced by community members and providing personalized guidance toward financial independence.
Cyntressia currently serves as a board member for the Jackson Equity Project, furthering her commitment to community development and financial inclusion. During her tenure at the Financial Empowerment Center, she has successfully assisted numerous clients in achieving significant financial milestones, including home ownership and credit improvement.
Cyntressia holds a Bachelor in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix, adding a valuable perspective to her understanding of the intersections between financial well-being and other aspects of community health.
In her free time, Cyntressia enjoys strength training, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. She is also an avid fan of science fiction movies when time permits.
