Mandy joined United Way as the Student Success Coordinator in August 2024, bringing with her over 14 years of experience as an educator. With a strong foundation in educational leadership, Mandy is deeply committed to helping students thrive and ensuring they have the support they need to succeed.

Mandy is passionate about empowering students and giving back to her community. She believes in creating an environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and equipped to reach their full potential. Her dedication to education and community shines through in everything she does, and she works hard to build strong relationships that benefit both students and their families.

Mandy graduated from the 2023-2024 Gibson County Adult Leadership class, where she had the opportunity to grow as a leader and connect with others who share her passion for positive change. She also served on the district leadership team, where she played an active role in shaping decisions that impact the future of students in her district.

She earned her Master in Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin. These degrees and experiences allow Mandy to bring a thoughtful, well-rounded perspective to her work at United Way.

In her free time, Mandy loves spending time with her family and their goldendoodle. She enjoys going to the lake, walking outside, and decorating.
