Unite. Strengthen. Impact. Lead
AmeriCorps is a federal agency that focuses on volunteerism by bringing people together to serve communities. By improving lives and strengthening communities, more individuals are receiving assistance and access to the resources they need to thrive. Every year, AmeriCorps enrolls more than 200,000 people to serve organizations across our nation in order to address local communities' more pressing challenges. We are proud to partner with AmeriCorps since their focus on disaster relief, education, and health closely aligns with our mission.
This program serves all 15 counties within our service area: Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Gibson, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Lake, Madison, McNairy, and Weakley. We want to provide local organizations with the opportunity to become a host site and individuals with the opportunity to serve as AmeriCorps members.

Their service will provide them with challenging and enriching career experiences, which encourages their professional development and contributes to a culture of diversity and civic engagement within the organization.
Efficient Solutions
AmeriCorps collaborates with both public and private organizations to ensure that efforts are informed and coordinated, avoiding redundancy and maximizing the impact of resources. This collaborative approach helps to create more efficient and effective solutions to the challenges faced by communities across the nation.
